This week we will be running event #5 The Fred Gerlach 2 Man Best Ball Qualifier.
DO NOT COMPETE IN THIS TOURNAMENT IF YOU WILL NOT CONTINUE WITH MATCH PLAY.
Best Ball 18 Holes Medal Play at full handicap. Players may drop down in class but must play with the lower class handicap. Depending on participation, up to 8 teams in each class will qualify to continue in match play. Teams competing in match play MUST be available to play on Saturday and Sunday. Matches may be played, by mutual agreement anytime during the week. Match play handicap strokes will be determined by “playing off” the low handicap in each group. Dates for completion of each round of match play will be posted and failure to determine a match winner by the posted dates will result in a winner being determined by the Tournament Committee (THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED)!! Failure to compete in match play will result in ineligibility for any prizes. Also this week will be Event #2 The 12 Hole Elective:
18 Holes at full handicap. Players will use their 2 best net Par 3's, their 2 best net Par 5's, and their 8 best net Par 4's for the Best Net 12 Holes.
The sign up sheet for The Memorial Shamble is now posted in the locker room on the tournament board. Please print your name legibly with your handicap and whether you will be attending the picnic after.
