We had a great turnout for the General Meeting on April 13. Events booklets were handed out to those attending. If you didn't attend, you can pick one up after the course opens from any one of the club's board members.
We still have not heard when the course will open due to all the great? spring weather we have had.
Let's hope we get a change in the weather for the better soon.
We are going to move the 1st tournament of the year (Mystery Score) to a later date to be played the same week as another due to the course not being open. We will have more info on that later.
The George Hogan Memorial Scramble and Picnic will be played on Sat. May 5. Tee times will run from 8:00 until noon with the picnic at the Elliott Creek Park Casino to follow.
Sign up started at the General Meeting and will continue through April 29. If interested in playing please the sign up sheet will be on the tournament board in the locker room after the course opens or send an email to our club email address [email protected] with your name hdcp. and whether you will attend the picnic.
Teams will be picked by the Tournament Committee and tee times randomly assigned. There is a $5 skins game during the tournament and the picnic (unlimited food and drink) will cost $10 per person to help with the cost of the shelter, food, drink, etc. This event is a good way for our newer members to become known and maybe find some playing partners.
Whenever possible, please patronize our sponsors. without their help we wouldn't be able to hold the weekly tournaments and other events on our schedule and while at those spots thank them for being a sponsor.
